Authorities reported that the individual had two young children in his vehicle during the pursuit. The incident began when deputies noticed an unlicensed vehicle traveling on Highway 99. They attempted to stop the driver, but he fled, initiating a chase. After exiting the highway, Torres crashed into another car at an intersection. He exited the highway and navigated through residential areas before crashing into a sedan at a stop sign near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 23rd Avenue. Video footage from the sheriff’s office revealed the moment of impact, showing the sedan spinning due to the force of the collision. Although no one suffered severe injuries, the scene required immediate attention from emergency responders.

Discovery of Illicit Items and Release on Bail
