Meanwhile, CATL is also advancing sodium-ion battery technology through its Naxtra brand, which will enter mass production later this year. These sodium-ion batteries excel in extreme cold conditions, retaining over 90 percent charge at temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius, making them ideal for regions with harsh winters.
